AI governance

AI governance involves:

1. Researching policy and decision-making questions about current and future AI systems.

2. Efforts to inform and influence relevant decision-makers, including corporations, nonprofits, and national governments.

In general, AI governance work focuses on fostering cooperation and developing concrete tools, such as legislation and monitoring. A subset of AI governance work focuses on the challenges of navigating the large-scale impacts which future transformative AI systems will have.
